Kenwood KD-3070 Direct Drive Turntable (sold)This is a good one. Strong motor, nice arm, heavy platter all add up to a great performer.Auto return is by a fluid damped mechanism which you "arm" with the large start lever. Smooth and fast, works well. Striking platter with double size strobe markings, orange neon illuminator. Technics SL-1401 Professional Turntable (sold)One of a handful of Technics home/studio turntables that are based on the SL-1200 DJ turntable. Same motor and quartz electronics. The torque starts, stops and changes speed in a quarter of a turn and is strong enough to rotate against a brush or cloth as you remove dust from a disc.Same arm as a 1200, low friction with damped queing lever. The 1401 has auto return, manual start. Heavy cast alloy plinth with the arm and platter semi floating on it's own suspension for extremely good isolation. Fully rebuilt with all moving parts cleaned and lubed, all electrical contacts treated. Everything working like new. Has some minor pitting in parts of the paint surface otherwise excellent condition. Technics SL-120 Vintage Professional Turntable (sold)The 120 is the forerunner of the famous SL-1200 and has a cast alloy body, strong direct drive and heavy platter with strobe. Fitted with a brand new Technics SL-1210 arm, one of the best arms ever made and a perfect fit.Original plastic feet upgraded with custom CNC stainless steel. This one is in mint almost unused condition. I've given it a full service of all moving parts and contacts. Likely the best one of these in existence and much more interesting than a standard 1200 for home or studio. This full auto model was the highest in the series.
